strict French building codes
with some 9,700 ft²

basement work shop and storage area.
Total floor space 14,550

1,200,000 Cash raised
150,000 Yet needed
$1,350,000 Total
(U.S. dollars)
Second floor walls went up this autumn.
Next will come the cement slab for the third floor
if an adequate break comes in this snowy winter. The roof should be
on by spring,
followed by doors, windows, heating,
plumbing, electrical...
hopefully ready for occupancy by October 2010.
We've outgrown the little white house at Archamps, France, where our studios have been
"temporarily" located
during
much of the
past 20 years. We desperately need space
to accomodate increasing staff. Our landlord has not renewed our lease on the old place,
but has graciously permitted us to stay
until the new building can be made
ready.
The old Archamps studio
2,200 ft²
The new studios are located along the main road at the village of Maisonneuve
(Vers) Haute-Savoie, France, about 5 miles south of the boarder with Geneva, Switzerland.
The new RADIO 74 worldwide broadcast center will provide adequate space
for several modest studios and offices, space to care for all three existing radio networks, broadcasting the "good news" in
several languages via satellites to listeners in more than 100 countries of Europe,
Middle-East, North Africa, and North and South America. Eventually,
broadcasting coverage
will be extended to Africa and Asia.
Cost of completed building:
$1,350,000
(Ever varying with dollar - euro exchange rate)
